The clients wanted the front yard to be the home’s focal point from the street view, while also relatively maintenance-free and drought-tolerant. By slightly modifying the shape of the existing driveway, the landscape forged a new walk path to the entry. Mounding the earth on both sides of custom concrete paver path, the design showcases various succulents from their best angles while providing a sense of spaciousness, depth, and privacy from the street.
